Ingredients/Components

  • sticks margarine - 2 item
  • shortening - 1/2 c
  • light brown sugar - 1 lb
  • sugar - 1 c
  • eggs - 5 item
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • baking powder - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 3 c
  • milk - 1 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • chopped nuts - 1 c

How to make caramel nut pound cake:

Grease Bundt pan. Cream margarine, Crisco, brown sugar and sugar well. Add eggs, one at a time; mix well. Mix flour, baking powder and salt; add alternately with milk and vanilla. Stir in pecans. Bake 90 minutes. Cool. Remove from pan.
