- sticks margarine - 2 item
- shortening - 1/2 c
- light brown sugar - 1 lb
- sugar - 1 c
- eggs - 5 item
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 3 c
- milk - 1 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
How to make caramel nut pound cake:
Grease Bundt pan. Cream margarine, Crisco, brown sugar and sugar well. Add eggs, one at a time; mix well. Mix flour, baking powder and salt; add alternately with milk and vanilla. Stir in pecans. Bake 90 minutes. Cool. Remove from pan.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, American.
