Ingredients/Components
- stick butter or margarine - 1 item
- can condensed milk Eagle Brand - 1 item
How to make hot fudge sauce:
Combine all ingredients. Cook in a double boiler until thick, approximately 20 minutes. Sauce will get very thick as it cools, not to worry! Reheat in microwave or over hot water and it will thin down again. Sauce will keep in the refrigerator for weeks.For Hot Fudge Cakes: Bake your favorite chocolate sheet cake. Cut into 2-inch squares. Slice each square crosswise. Place a slice of vanilla ice cream between the cake slices and top with fudge sauce. Garnish with Cool Whip. Out of this world!!
