Hot fudge pudding cake
Ingredients/Components
- vanilla
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 1 c
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- hot water
- packed light brown sugar - 1/2 c
- butter, melted - 1/3 c
- sugar, divided
- cocoa, divided - 7 Tbsp
How to make hot fudge pudding cake:
Heat oven to 350°. In medium mixing bowl, combine 3/4 cup sugar, flour, 3 tablespoons cocoa, baking powder and salt. Blend in milk, melted butter or margarine and vanilla. Beat until smooth. Pour batter into square pan, 8 x 8 x 2-inch or 9 x 9 x 2-inch.In small bowl, combine remaining 1/2 cup sugar, brown sugar and remaining 4 tablespoons cocoa. Sprinkle mixture evenly over batter. Pour hot water over top. Do not stir. Bake 40 minutes or until center is almost set. Let stand 15 minutes and spoon into dessert dishes, spooning sauce from bottom of pan over top. Garnish as desired. Makes 8 to 10 servings.
