Hot fudge pudding cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- cocoa - 2 Tbsp
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- sifted flour - 1 c
- nuts optional - 1 c
- hot water
- brown sugar, packed
- shortening, melted - 2 Tbsp
How to make hot fudge pudding cake:
Topping:1 c. brown sugar, packed1/4 c. cocoa1 3/4 c. hot water Sift together in bowl flour, baking powder, salt, sugar and cocoa. Stir in milk, shortening and nuts. Spread this into a 9-inch loaf pan. Sprinkle with mixture of brown sugar and cocoa. Pour hot water over entire batter. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.During baking cake rises and sauce settles to bottom. Better if served warm.
