Ingredients/Components

  • brown sugar - 3/4 c
  • butter - 1/3 c
  • curry powder - 3 tsp
  • pinch of cinnamon - 1 item
  • 303 can pear halves
  • 303 can pineapple chunks
  • 303 can apricot halves
  • a few maraschino cherries, drained - 1 item

How to make hot curried fruit:

Drain fruit well and place in casserole. Melt butter, sugar, cinnamon and curry powder and pour over fruit. Bake in a 325° oven for at least 30 minutes. Keep hot and serve from the chafing dish. I have used other fruit combinations.
