Hot curried fruit
Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar - 3/4 c
- butter - 1/3 c
- curry powder - 3 tsp
- pinch of cinnamon - 1 item
- 303 can pear halves
- 303 can pineapple chunks
- 303 can apricot halves
- a few maraschino cherries, drained - 1 item
How to make hot curried fruit:
Drain fruit well and place in casserole. Melt butter, sugar, cinnamon and curry powder and pour over fruit. Bake in a 325° oven for at least 30 minutes. Keep hot and serve from the chafing dish. I have used other fruit combinations.Recipe categories: Low protein, Fruit, Side dish.
