Hot chicken salad casserole
Ingredients/Components
- mayonnaise - 1 c
- celery, chopped - 1 c
- jar Cheez Whiz - 1 lb
- bottle French dressing - 1 item
- can French fried onion rings - 1 item
- chicken breasts, cooked and cut into bite size pieces - 8 item
- pecans or almonds optional - 1 c
How to make hot chicken salad casserole:
Toss boiled chicken in French dressing and marinate overnight. Next day, add celery and mayonnaise to taste to make a chicken salad. Add nuts, if desired. Place in baking dish and cover with cheese spread. Cook at 350° for 1/2 hour or a little longer if not starting from room temperature.
