Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- vanilla - 1 bean
- boiling water - 3 c
- instant coffee
- fifth 80 proof vodka - 1 item
How to make homemade kahlua:
Dissolve coffee in boiling water; add sugar and vanilla bean or extract. Boil for 5 minutes. Cool. When cold, add vodka. Stir. Store in large bottle or jug for about 30 days. Serve as a dessert sauce or as a liqueur.Recipe categories: Low protein, Drinks, Low fat.
