Homemade applesauce

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 2/3 c
• cinnamon - 1 tsp
• water - 1 c
• nutmeg - 1/4 c
• vanilla or almond extract - 1/2 tsp
• to 8 cooking apples, pared, cored and chopped - 6 item

How to make homemade applesauce:

Combine all ingredients and cook until apples are mushy. Mash! Makes about 3 cups. Can be put in sterilized jars.
