- baking soda - 1 tsp
- sifted flour
- eggs, lightly beaten - 2 item
- can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk - 1 item
- 1 lb - 2 c
- walnuts, coarsely chopped - 1 c
- 28 oz
How to make holiday fruit cake:
Butter a spring-form pan or 9-inch tube pan. Line with waxed paper. Butter again. Sift flour and soda. Combine eggs, mincemeat, condensed milk, fruit and nuts. Fold in dry ingredients. Pour into pan; bake in slow oven at 300° for 2 hours or until center springs back when touched (top is golden brown). Cool. Turn out and remove waxed paper.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Fruit.
