Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • milk
  • flour - 5 Tbsp
  • butter - 1/2 c
  • egg - 1 item
  • powdered sugar - 1 to
  • Crisco - 1 c
  • hot water
  • Jiffy chocolate cake mix - 1 item
  • melted, unsweetened chocolate - 3 oz

How to make ho ho cake:

Bake cake mix in 9 x 13-inch greased and floured pan. Cool.

Cook flour and milk until thick. Cool. Cream sugar, 1/2 cup butter and Crisco. Add to flour mixture. Beat well. Spread over cake and refrigerate.

For third layer, melt 1/2 cup oleo, then beat egg, vanilla, chocolate and water. Add butter, then add powdered sugar. Pour over second layer. Keep refrigerated.
