  • sugar - 1 c
  • milk - 1-1/2 c
  • coconut - 1 c
  • can crushed pineapple - 20 oz
  • yellow cake mix - 1 item
  • cool whip - 1 item
  • box instant pudding, lemon, coconut or vanilla

How to make hawaiian delight cake:

Mix and bake yellow cake mix according to directions. Mix pineapple with sugar and let simmer while cake is baking. When cake is done- poke holes in cake with fork, lots of holes. Pour pineapple mixture over cake and let cool.

For topping: mix pudding (lemon, coconut or vanilla) of your choice, milk and coconut spread over cake. Spread top with cool whip and chopped nuts.
