Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- milk - 1/2 c
- flour - 3 c
- coconut - 1/2 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- nuts - 1 c
- raisins - 1 c
- margarine - 1 c
- maraschino cherries - 6 item
- sour milk - 1 c
- drained pears - 1 c
- Mix and add milk, raisins, pears and nuts
- flour enough to make a pudding - 1/2 2/3
- fruit raisins, dates, etc - 1/2 c
How to make fruit cake:
Cream together eggs, sugar and margarine. Mix and add milk, raisins, pears and nuts. Sift and add flour, soda, vanilla. Put in two greased layer pans.
