Greek tomato salad
Ingredients/Components
- clove garlic - 1 item
- oregano - 1/2 tsp
- wine vinegar - 3 tsp
- olive oil - 1/2 c
- salt to taste - 1 item
- Feta cheese - 3/4 c
- freshly ground pepper to taste - 1 item
- thyme - 1/2 tsp
- can pitted olives - 1 item
- large, ripe tomatoes - 3 item
How to make greek tomato salad:
Cut tomatoes to bite size. Cut olives in half. Rub bowl with garlic; add tomatoes, olives and cheese. Sprinkle with vinegar and olive oil. Add seasonings and toss. Marinate for at least 4 hours on counter. If longer, store in refrigerate until 1 to 2 hours before serving.
