Ingredients/Components

  • flour - 1 item
  • butter - 2 Tbsp
  • water - 4 c
  • egg - 1 item
  • hamburger
  • tomato juice - 2 c
  • parsley, chopped - 2 Tbsp
  • rice - 1 c
  • dried dill - 1/2 Tbsp
  • chopped yellow onion - 1 Tbsp

How to make greek meatballs:

Mix hamburger with rice, yellow onion, parsley, dill and egg. Mix and mold into small meatballs. Roll each in flour. In a large frying pan, put tomato juice and water. Bring to heavy simmer and add butter. Gently drop meatballs into this sauce, cover and simmer for 45 minutes.
