Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- freshly ground pepper - 1/4 tsp
- red wine vinegar - 2 Tbsp
- olive oil - 6 Tbsp
- chopped fresh oregano or 1/4 tsp - 1 tsp
How to make greek country salad:
Prepare Oil and Vinegar Dressing. Tear curly endive and romaine lettuce into bite-size pieces. Place on a large salad bowl. Add cucumber, tomatoes, olives and onions. Pour Oil and Vinegar Dressing over salad. Toss lightly. Top with cheese. Makes 6 servings.Oil and Vinegar Dressing: Combine all ingredients in a small bowl or jar. Mix well. Cover. Refrigerate until ready to use.
