Grecian orange cake
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 4 item
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- water - 3/4 c
- powdered sugar
- plus 2 Tbsp - 1/3 c
- box yellow cake mix - 1 item
- chopped pecans if desired - 1 c
- instant lemon pudding 4 serving - 1 pkg
- corn oil scant - 3/4 c
How to make grecian orange cake:
Icing:2 c. powdered sugar1/3 c. plus 2 Tbsp. concentrated orange juice2 Tbsp. butter Cake: Combine and beat 2 minutes. Pour in a greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 325° to 350° for 45 to 50 minutes.Icing: Heat until dissolved. Pour over hot cake in tube pan, after punching top of cake full of holes with ice pick.
If you like a real lemony cake, use lemon cake mix, pudding and lemon juice.
