Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- pkg - 1 oz
- egg - 1 item
- box confectioners sugar - 1 item
- box yellow cake mix - 1 item
- stick butter, softened - 1 item
- chopped pecans optional - 1 c
How to make gooey butter cake:
Mix cake mix, butter, pecans and 1 egg with hands if necessary. Press into a 13 x 9-inch pan.For topping, mix cream cheese, 2 eggs and sugar. Spread over cake mixture. Bake 1 hour at 300°. Top will be crusty and inside gooey.
For delicious brownies, use chocolate cake mix instead of yellow and add 4 tablespoons of cocoa to topping.
