  • eggs - 5 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • milk - 1 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • butter
  • almond extract - 3/4 tsp
  • baking powder - 3/4 tsp
  • sifted flour - 3 c

How to make golden pound cake:

Make sure all ingredients are at room temperature.

Cream together until way fluffy the butter, sugar and eggs (add one at a time). Add flour, baking powder and salt. Add a little bit of milk at a time. Add vanilla and almond extract. The longer you beat it, the better the cake. Bake on center rack of oven for 55 to 60 minutes at 325°.
