Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- eggs - 5 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- butter
- almond extract - 3/4 tsp
- baking powder - 3/4 tsp
- sifted flour - 3 c
How to make golden pound cake:
Make sure all ingredients are at room temperature.Cream together until way fluffy the butter, sugar and eggs (add one at a time). Add flour, baking powder and salt. Add a little bit of milk at a time. Add vanilla and almond extract. The longer you beat it, the better the cake. Bake on center rack of oven for 55 to 60 minutes at 325°.
