Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour
- brown sugar - 1 c
- baking soda - 2 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- shortening - 3/4 c
- molasses - 1/4 c
- ginger - 1 tsp
- cloves - 1/2 tsp
How to make gingersnaps:
Heat oven to 375°. Shape dough by rounded teaspoonfuls into balls. Dip tops in granulated sugar. Place balls, sugar side up, 3 inches apart on a lightly greased baking sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Drop cookies, Cookie and brownie.
