German chocolate pie
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- pkg - 1 oz
- coconut
- butter or oleo - 1/4 c
- eggs, slightly beaten - 3 item
- pecans, chopped - 1/2 c
- can Pet milk - 1 oz
- deep dish pie crust - 1 item
How to make german chocolate pie:
Preheat oven and cookie sheet to 400°. In a large saucepan, melt chocolate and butter. Gradually add milk and coconut. Combine eggs and sugar. Stir into chocolate mixture. Then add pecans. Mix well. Pour into pie crust. Bake at 400° for about 30 minutes or until done. Cool completely.Note: Cook pie on cookie sheet to avoid spills.
