German chocolate pie
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 c
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- coconut - 1 c
- cocoa - 7 Tbsp
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- stick margarine, melted - 1 item
- tall can milk - 1 item
How to make german chocolate pie:
Mix cocoa, sugar and salt together, getting all lumps out of cocoa. Add milk, vanilla and margarine; mix. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each one. Add chopped nuts and coconut. Pour into 3 regular or 2 deep dish pie crusts and bake 1 hour at 350°. After pies are taken from oven, they will set.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
