German apple pancake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- eggs - 3 item
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 1/3 c
- butter - 4 Tbsp
- juice of 1 lemon
- apples, peeled and sliced thin - 2 item
How to make german apple pancake:
In blender, mix eggs, flour, milk and salt. Blend until smooth. Let batter stand 1 hour. Sprinkle juice of 1/2 lemon over apple slices. In a 12-inch skillet (that can go in oven), heat 2 tablespoons butter. When bubbly, pour in batter. Cover with apple slices and bake in 375° oven for 10 to 15 minutes. Dot with 2 tablespoons butter; sprinkle sugar and cinnamon mixture over apples. Return to oven for 2 minutes.Recipe categories: Pancakes and waffles, Breakfast, Apple.
