Ingredients/Components
- salt
- cold water
- jar pimento - 1 item
- cup sugar - 3/4 item
- can cut green beans - 1 item
- cup white vinegar - 1/2 item
- cup salad oil - 3/8 item
- pieces celery, chopped - 4 item
- can small green peas - 1 item
- cucumber, unpeeled - 1 item
- onion, sliced and separated - 1 item
- cup tarragon vinegar - 1/4 item
How to make garden vegetable salad:
Dressing:1 tsp. salt1/2 cup white vinegar1/4 cup tarragon vinegar3/4 cup sugar3/8 cup salad oil1 1/2 Tbsp. cold water Drain vegetables and combine sliced onion and cucumber (thin cut crosswise), and celery. Add chopped pimento. For dressing, mix salt, vinegars, sugar, salad oil, and cold water. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Pour over vegetables and refrigerate for 24 hours.
