Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- salt - 1 tsp
- oil - 1/2 c
- vinegar - 1/2 c
- paprika - 1/2 tsp
- chopped onion - 1 c
- chopped celery - 1 c
- celery seed - 1/2 tsp
- green pepper, chopped - 1 item
- mustard seed - 1/2 tsp
- small jar diced pimentos - 1 item
- slivered toasted almonds - 1/2 c
- French-style green beans - 1 can
- white Shoe Peg corn - 1 can
- small peas - 1 can
How to make garden salad:
Marinade Sauce:1/2 c. sugar1/2 c. vinegar1/2 c. oil1 tsp. salt1/2 tsp. mustard seed1/2 tsp. celery seed1/2 tsp. paprika Drain vegetables well. While they are draining prepare marinade as follows: Combine all ingredients and bring to boil. Cool thoroughly before covering vegetables. Refrigerate several hours or overnight.
