Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1 tsp
  • water - 1 tbsp
  • pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • cup chopped onion - 1 item
  • cup chopped green pepper - 1 item
  • cup chopped celery - 1 item
  • cup sugar - 1 item
  • cup vinegar - 3/4 item
  • can English peas - 1 item
  • small jar pimento - 1 item
  • cup salad oil - 1/2 item
  • can shoepeg corn - 1 item
  • can french style green beans - 1 item

How to make garden salad:

Bring sugar, oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, water to boil. Remove from heat. Cool. Drain canned vegetables. Mix all vegetables. Pour cooled liquid over vegetables. Refrigerate several hours or overnight before serving. Will keep a week.
