- pkg - 8 oz
- frozen mixed vegetables not stew vegetables - 1 pkg
- diced Velveeta cheese - 1 c
- mayonnaise Miracle Whip if desired - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- onion powder - 1 tsp
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- lettuce leaves optional - 1 item
How to make garden fresh macaroni salad:
Cook macaroni in salted water (2 quarts water plus 1 tablespoon salt) until tender yet firm, about 8 minutes. Rinse in cold water in colander to cool. Drain well. Cook vegetables according to package directions. Drain and rinse in cold water to cool.Recipe categories: Salads, Pasta, Elbow macaroni.
