  • sugar
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • brown sugar - 1/2 c
  • coconut - 1/2 c
  • soda - 2 tsp
  • eggs, well beaten - 2 item
  • can fruit cocktail - 1 oz

How to make fruit cocktail cake:

Mix sugar, eggs and fruit cocktail, including juice, together. Add flour, salt and soda. Pour into 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan. Mix coconut and brown sugar together. Sprinkle over top of cake. Bake at 300° for 50 minutes.

Ice with powdered sugar icing.
