Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- cinnamon
- eggs - 6 item
- salt - 1 tsp
- butter - 1/2 lb
- vanilla flavoring - 1 oz
- nutmeg - 1 tsp
- white raisins - 1 lb
- candied pineapple - 3/4 lb
- pecans not chopped
- Pillsbury plain flour - 1 lb
- candied cherries not chopped - 3/4 lb
How to make fruit cake:
Melt butter and sugar; add eggs and flavoring. Sift flour, cinnamon and nutmeg and add a little at a time. Beat well; add nuts and fruit. Bake 2 1/2 hours at 275°. Take out of oven. Put cherries, pineapple and pecans on top. Cook 1/2 hour longer.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Fruit.
