Frozen cole slaw
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- water - 1/4 c
- vinegar
- grated carrot - 1 item
- chopped green pepper - 1 item
- celery seed - 1 tsp
- mustard seed - 1 tsp
- medium head cabbage - 1 item
- onion to taste - 1 item
How to make frozen cole slaw:
Dressing:1 c. vinegar1/4 c. water1 tsp. mustard seed1 tsp. celery seed2 c. sugar Mix salt and cabbage; let set 1 hour. While this is setting, fix other ingredients. After one hour, squeeze out water and add carrots, green peppers and onion; mix. Put in containers and set aside.Dressing: Combine all ingredients and boil 1 minute and cool. Pour over cabbage mixture in containers. Freeze.
