Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 2 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • water - 1/4 c
  • vinegar
  • grated carrot - 1 item
  • chopped green pepper - 1 item
  • celery seed - 1 tsp
  • mustard seed - 1 tsp
  • medium head cabbage - 1 item
  • onion to taste - 1 item

How to make frozen cole slaw:

Dressing:1 c. vinegar1/4 c. water1 tsp. mustard seed1 tsp. celery seed2 c. sugar Mix salt and cabbage; let set 1 hour. While this is setting, fix other ingredients. After one hour, squeeze out water and add carrots, green peppers and onion; mix. Put in containers and set aside.

Dressing: Combine all ingredients and boil 1 minute and cool. Pour over cabbage mixture in containers. Freeze.
