  • sugar - 2 c
  • cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • chopped pecans - 1 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 3 c
  • nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
  • soda - 2 tsp
  • cooking oil - 1 c
  • diced pears - 4 c

How to make fresh pear cake:

Mix sugar and pears; let sit 1 hour. Put oil in pear mixture. Beat eggs and pour in pears. Mix all dry ingredients together and add to pear mixture slowly. Stir with spoon. Bake at 350° for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Bake in tube pan.
