Ingredients/Components

- cinnamon
- flour - 2 c
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- water - 1 item
- Crisco - 3/4 c
- salt optional - 1 tsp
- fresh peaches about 9 medium - 5 c
How to make fresh peach pie:
Filling:1 c. sugar1/4 c. flour1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon5 c. fresh peaches (about 9 medium)2 Tbsp. butter Pastry: Preheat oven to 425°. Cut shortening into flour and salt until it resembles coarse crumbs. Add tablespoons of cold water until it forms a ball. Roll on floured surface. Line bottom of pie pan with half of recipe.Filling: In large bowl, mix sugar, flour and cinnamon. Add peaches and toss. Empty into pastry-lined pie pan. Dot with butter. Cover with top crust. Seal edge with fork or pinch in waves. Moisten with milk and sprinkle with sugar. Bake 35 to 40 minutes.
