  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • buttermilk - 1 c
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • dash of salt - 1 item
  • margarine - 1/2 c
  • brown sugar, firmly packed
  • peaches, peeled and diced - 4 item

How to make fresh peach cake:

Cream margarine and brown sugar until light. Add eggs. Sift together flour, soda and salt. Add alternately with buttermilk. Stir in peaches. Pour into greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Sprinkle with mixture of sugar and cinnamon. Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes. Very good.
