- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- milk - 1/4 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- brown sugar - 1 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- margarine
- pecans - 2 c
- sifted plain flour - 3 c
- diced apples - 3 c
- Canola oil
How to make fresh apple cake:
Frosting:1/2 c. margarine1/4 c. milk1 c. brown sugar1 tsp. vanilla Mix sugar and oil. Add eggs, flour, salt and soda; mix well. Stir in apples, pecans and vanilla. Grease and flour a tube pan. Bake at 350° for 60 to 70 minutes.Frosting: In a saucepan over medium heat, melt margarine with brown sugar. Add milk; bring to a boil for 2 or 3 minutes. Cool. Add vanilla. Frost top and sides.
