Fresh apple cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- flour - 3 c
- nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- allspice - 1/2 tsp
- sticks margarine, melted - 2 item
- large apples - 4 item
How to make fresh apple cake:
Peel, core and grate apples in large mixing bowl. Pour sugar over apples and let stand 10 minutes. In the meantime, sift flour, cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice. Mix with nuts. Add eggs and margarine to apples. Combine the two mixtures. Place in greased pan and bake at 350° approximately 1 1/4 hours for Bundt pan or 1 hour for 2 loaf pans. Check for doneness approximately 15 minutes before time is up. May be served warm or cool.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Apple.
