French apple cobbler
Ingredients/Components
- butter, softened - 3 Tbsp
- sugar
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- vanilla extract - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- egg, slightly beaten - 1 item
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- peeled sliced tart apples - 5 c
How to make french apple cobbler:
Combine apples, 3/4 cup sugar, 2 tablespoons flour, 1/4 teaspoon salt, cinnamon, vanilla and 1/4 cup water in bowl, mixing well. Spoon into 9 x 13-inch baking pan. Dot with 1 tablespoon butter. Combine 1/2 cup flour, 1/2 cup sugar, baking powder, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 2 tablespoons butter and egg in bowl, beating well. Drop by 9 large spoonfuls over apples.
