Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 4 c
- water - 1/2 c
- egg - 1 item
- vegetable shortening
- white vinegar - 1 Tbsp
How to make foolproof pie crust:
Mix together flour, shortening, sugar and salt. In separate bowl, mix together vinegar, egg and water. Combine all ingredients and chill at least 15 minutes. Yield: 3 (9-inch) pie crusts. Can be refrigerated 3 days or frozen if desired.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
