  • sugar - 1 Tbsp
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour - 4 c
  • water - 1/2 c
  • egg - 1 item
  • vegetable shortening
  • white vinegar - 1 Tbsp

How to make foolproof pie crust:

Mix together flour, shortening, sugar and salt. In separate bowl, mix together vinegar, egg and water. Combine all ingredients and chill at least 15 minutes. Yield: 3 (9-inch) pie crusts. Can be refrigerated 3 days or frozen if desired.
