  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 4 c
  • water - 1/2 c
  • egg - 1 item
  • vinegar - 1 Tbsp
  • shortening

How to make foolproof pie crust:

Cream shortening, sugar and salt. Mix together vinegar, egg and water. Add flour; mix until easy to work with. Add more flour if necessary. Chill at least 1 hour before using.
