Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 Tbsp
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/8 tsp
- egg whites - 3 item
- ground nutmeg - 1/8 tsp
- can evaporated skim milk - 1 oz
- maple extract - 1/2 tsp
- ground cinnamon for garnish - 1/2 tsp
- low-fat 2% milk - 1/2 c
How to make flan:
Preheat oven to 250°. Blend well all ingredients in a blender. Pour mixture into baking dish or 4 individual ramekins. Sprinkle generously with cinnamon. (If using ramekins, place on baking sheet for easier handling.) Place in preheated oven to bake about 1 hour or until set. May be served warm, at room temperature or cold.To reheat, place individual servings in microwave for 30 seconds.
