Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 3 c
  • milk - 1 c
  • water - 1/2 c
  • baking powder - 1/2 tsp
  • vegetable oil - 1/2 c
  • all-purpose flour - 3 c
  • eggs, well beaten - 5 item
  • sticks butter or margarine - 2 item
  • each: coconut extract, vanilla, rum, butter, lemon flavorings - 1 tsp
  • each of the 5 flavorings plus 1 tsp - 1 tsp

How to make five flavor pound cake:

Glaze:1 c. sugar1/2 c. water1 tsp. each of the 5 flavorings plus 1 tsp. almond Cream butter, oil and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, which have been beaten until lemon colored. Sift flour and baking powder together. Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk. Stir in flavorings. Spoon mixture into tube pan which has been well-greased or sprayed with Pam. Bake at 350° for 1 1/2 hours. Add glaze, if desired.

Glaze: Combine all ingredients in saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Pour over hot cake in pan. Turn out of pan after cooled.
