Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 1 c
  • pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • pancake mix - 1 c
  • corn meal - 1/4 c
  • McCormick Season-All - 1/2 tsp
  • blackened red fish seasoning - 1 Tbsp
  • can beer at room temperature or 1 can 7-Up - 1 item

How to make fish batter:

Mix all dry ingredients. Divide 1/4 of mixture into another bowl and add beer or 7-Up until it becomes a runny batter. Dip fish into dry mixture, then into liquid batter, then deposit into deep-fryer until golden brown.
