Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 Tbsp
- water - 4 c
- paprika - 1 Tbsp
- garlic powder - 1 Tbsp
- chopped onion - 1 c
- chili powder - 1/2 c
- oregano - 1 Tbsp
- cans tomato sauce - 2 oz
- grated Cheddar cheese - 1 item
- cumin - 1 Tbsp
- chopped red pepper - 1 Tbsp
- coarse ground chuck - 4 lb
- 2 can red kidney beans if desired
How to make firehouse chili:
Brown ground chuck in large Dutch oven. Drain excess fat. Add tomato sauce, water and chopped onion to ground chuck. Combine chili powder, red pepper, garlic powder, cumin, salt, paprika and oregano. Add to other ingredients. Add red kidney beans, ifRecipe categories: Main dish, Ground beef, Chili.
