Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1/2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- water - 2/3 c
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- chopped onion - 1 item
- snipped parsley - 2 Tbsp
- chili powder - 1 Tbsp
- chopped green pepper - 1/3 c
- clove garlic - 1 item
- shredded Cheddar cheese - 1 c
- oregano - 1/2 tsp
- hamburger - 1 lb
- tomato sauce - 15 oz
- cumin - 1/2 tsp
- tortillas - 8 item
- chopped chilies - 2 item
How to make enchiladas:
Brown hamburger; drain. Stir in onion, sour cream, cheese, parsley, salt and pepper. Cover and reserve. Heat remaining ingredients; simmer 5 minutes, uncovered. Pour into pie plate. Dip each tortilla into sauce; coat both sides. Spoon 1/4 cup hamburger mixture onto each and roll. Arrange in a 12 x 9-inch ungreased dish. Pour remaining sauce over. Bake, uncovered, 20 minutes at 350°. Garnish with shredded cheese, lettuce, onion or lemon wedge, if desired.Recipe categories: Poultry, Meat, High calcium.
