  • water boiling - 7 c
  • starch
  • soap flakes not soap powder

How to make finger paint:

Mix starch with enough cold water to make a smooth paste. Add boiling water and cook until glossy. Stir in soap flakes while mixture is warm. When cool, add powdered paint or food coloring. Mixture can be kept for a week if placed in a jar with a tight lid.
