Ingredients/Components

  • cornstarch - 1/2 c
  • cold water - 1/4 c
  • boiling water
  • food coloring - 1 item
  • soap flakes - 1/2 c
  • glycerine - 2 tsp

How to make finger paint:

Moisten cornstarch with enough cold water to make a smooth paste. Gradually stir in boiling water. Cook mixture until clear and smooth. Stir mixture continuously while cooking. Add soap flakes and beat. Add glycerine for glossiness and food coloring for color. Store in a covered jar.
