Favorite brownies

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 2 c
• eggs - 4 item
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• flour - 1 c
• cocoa - 12 Tbsp
• margarine or butter - 1 c
• chopped walnuts optional - 2 c

How to make favorite brownies:

In small saucepan, melt butter and blend in chocolate. Beat eggs well. Gradually add sugar to egg mixture until light and fluffy (about 10 minutes with electric mixer). Stir in chocolate mixture and vanilla. Fold in just until blended the flour, salt and walnuts, if desired. Pour into greased pan (13 x 9 x 2-inch). Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until shiny and firm on top. Cool completely. Frost, if desired. Makes 24 brownies.
