Favorite brownies

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 2 c
• eggs - 4 item
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• salt - 1 tsp
• flour
• cocoa - 3/4 c
• baking powder - 1 tsp
• chopped nuts optional - 1 c
• oil or shortening - 1 c

How to make favorite brownies:

Heat oven to 350°. Grease 9 x 13-inch baking pan. Melt shortening. Mix with cocoa. Mix in sugar, eggs and vanilla. Stir in remaining ingredients. Bake 30 minutes or until brownies pull away from sides of pan.
