- sugar - 3/4 c
- eggs - 4 item
- water - 1/4 c
- cooking oil - 1/2 c
- canned pumpkin - 1 c
- spice cake mix - 1 pkg
- Topping:1 stick margarine
- cinnamon sugar mixture about 1 part cinnamon and 3 parts granulated sugar
How to make easy pumpkin cake:
Topping:1 stick margarine cinnamon sugar mixture (about 1 part cinnamon and 3 parts granulated sugar) Preheat oven to 350°. Combine cake ingredients in order listed and beat until smooth. Bake in a greased and floured tube pan for 1 hour at 350°. Cake will be very moist.Cool cake in pan for 15 minutes. Remove cake from pan while it is still slightly warm. Rub the end of a stick of margarine against the top of the warm cake, going around the top surface of the cake many times until the top is well saturated with melted margarine. Sprinkle top of cake generously with cinnamon sugar mixture.
