Easy apple cake

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1/4 c
• cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
• vanilla - 1/4 tsp
• flour - 1 c
• baking powder - 1 tsp
• egg - 1 item
• soft butter - 2 Tbsp
• apples, peeled and sliced - 4 item

How to make easy apple cake:

Mix together 1/4 cup sugar and cinnamon. Place a layer of apples in greased baking dish. Sprinkle with half the sugar-cinnamon. Cover with remaining apples and cover with remaining sugar-cinnamon.

Preheat oven to 350°. Cream 1/2 cup sugar and butter. Add egg and vanilla and mix well. Stir in flour and baking powder and spoon over apples, spreading as best you can. Bake 30 minutes. Superb served warm or with vanilla ice cream.
