Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- stick margarine - 1 item
- powdered sugar - 1 c
- box German chocolate cake mix - 1 item
- Angel Flake coconut - 1 c
How to make earthquake cake:
Sprinkle nuts and coconut in a greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Mix cake mix according to box directions and pour over nuts and coconut. Mix cream cheese, margarine and powdered sugar. Mix well and spoon on cake batter. Drop on top of cake batter, making rows; do not spread. Bake in a preheated 350° oven until cake mix part is done. As cake cools, cream cheese mixture will sink.
