Ingredients/Components
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- can cherry pie filling - 1 oz
- butter or oleo - 1/2 c
- large can crushed pineapple - 1 item
- white or yellow cake mix - 1 item
How to make dump cake:
Butter a 9 x 13-inch pan. Dump pineapple and swirl to fill in corners. Next, dump in pie filling and smooth out to cover pineapple. Dump dry cake mix on top to cover fruit. Sprinkle with nuts. Cut butter into "pats" and arrange on top of cake mix. Do not mix. Bake 1 hour (until brown) at 350°.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Fruit.
